Mother’s Day Musing

Instead of gravitating towards a buffet meal like we usually do on Mother’s day, we opted for a relaxing dinner. It’s nice to have an ample selection of food and feast to your heart’s content, but on such a day, I find that sitting down and having quality conversations is more fulfilling than stockpiling your plate to get your money’s worth.

L'Abattoir on Urbanspoon

Ending the meal with some gelato from none other than Vancouver’s infamous Bella Gelateria. My personal favourite is the Torroncino flavour, but I ended up having Banana Bread and Salted Pecan… just as delicious.
