One of the many Glowbal Group restaurants located on Alberni street, Coast is their seafood representative. Comprised of a swanky interior and laid-back atmosphere, it is a certainly a trendy venue to to sip cocktails and enjoy some west coast inspired comfort food. Though there were no execution flaws from the dishes we had, I have to say Glowbal Group’s reputation is known more for their remarkable ambiance and interior design. Thus, I wouldn’t come here to experience fireworks from a dish, but for a fancy solid meal, this might be worth a shot. It is also a good option to come during happy hour (3-6pm daily) like my visit this time, as all their appetizers are half off with buck-a-shuck oysters being offered. It allows one to sample their selection without breaking the bank as the price point is at the fine-dining level. Yet, something that surprised me there was the service – attentive and friendly! The staff members showed appreciation and value to the customers, kudos to the management.
